REIWA is pleased to announce it has implemented a formal diversity policy that aims to reflect and acknowledge the Institute’s very diverse membership base and that of the local WA community.

REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi said the Institute was proud of its diverse membership base and REIWA Council wanted to honour that by introducing a formal diversity policy.

“It’s important that the diversity of our membership and broader WA community is reflected at the Institute. REIWA’s diversity policy seeks to achieve an overarching objective of maintaining at least 40 per cent female representation, 40 per cent male representation and 20 per cent discretionary representation amongst Council and REIWA’s Executive Management staff.

“While primarily focused on gender diversity, we will seek to diversify across a range of factors, such as age, ability and education, family status, religion and ethnic or national origin.

“Western Australia is a diverse and varied state and one we are very proud to be part of. REIWA celebrates diversity and we are pleased to be able to make this policy a formal component of the Institute’s ethos,” Mr Pozzi said.
